Deliver Feasibility Studies and M&V for IETF Funding with IES

Looking to transition your high energy use industrial site or data centre to a low carbon future, funded by the UK government's Industrial Energy Transformation Fund (IETF)

With our trusted, physics-enabled digital twin technology, IES are well enabled to support feasibility studies and post-deployment monitoring and verification (M&V) for energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects funded by the IETF scheme.

Our team can support as a project partner, bringing our considerable experience in developing robust grant funding applications alongside our innovative technology and consultancy services.

We can work alongside eligible industrial sites and their existing supply chain partners to:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, using our digital twin technology to create a dynamic, virtual replica of your facility - leveraging both data and physics-based simulations to investigate the potential impact of different energy efficiency and decarbonisation measures.
  • Run options analyses on different interventions, which can encompass various energy efficiency, deep decarbonisation, and waste heat recovery measures, providing detailed recommendations with associated energy, carbon and cost estimates, to better inform investment decisions.
  • Develop a robust M&V plan and provide ongoing services post-deployment of any funded interventions, utilising your bespoke digital twin to monitor, track and verify that expected benefits are realised and helping to adhere with IETF reporting requirements.
  • Provide a lifetime digital asset which can be utilised beyond the scope of the IETF, to support ongoing operational optimisation and net-zero investment planning for capital projects across your site.
